The beautiful Gulf Coast area is a great place to live and socialize, but it is also plagued by the environmental concerns of coastal living. Storms, High Winds, Humidity and Salt Air. These concerns take a toll on the cost of living on the coast and has driven the cost of living to an unparalleled rate for insurance and repair of the built environment.

Gulf View City Place addresses these concerns by utilizing the project site as a “Living Building Challenge “ that sets a high bar for sustainable building, including zero net energy and zero net water. This is accomplished by conducting regular education events that feature CE – certified education for building professionals, seminars and working lab tour events for the general public that cover the most relevant topics that are being addressed globally. Intertek has chosen the project to be a “ White Paper” Global Case Study in accordance with the USGBC-LEED version 5 certification that will launch in September of 2023.
